Marie Hause is a PhD candidate studying early modern literature and the history of text technologies. She is working on a dissertation on images of the cosmos in early modern English poetry. Marie received her MA in literature in 2010. Her thesis explored gothic novels from feminist and queer theory perspectives.
Marie grew up in Bolivia, where her parents are missionaries. Perhaps that interdenominational environment encouraged some of her ecumenical viewpoints. She is interested particularly in feminist and queer approaches to theology and Christian practice. Marie is a regular panelist on the Christian Feminist Podcast.
